Here at Roslyn Pharmacy, we are real pharmacists with lots of experience, and we are always happy to come out and talk to you in person.
We’re proud to be teaming up with the medical services team at ReCare to offer our See Us First Clinics. Our trained pharmacists can now prescribe for a range of minor conditions – services that were once only available through a doctor’s appointment. This saves you the cost, stress, and valuable time typically spent at urgent care facilities.
Walk-in appointments are available for all services Monday to Friday:
Morning session: 9am – 12pm
Afternoon session: 2pm – 5pm

Conjunctivitis
Fast, pharmacist-led relief for red, itchy or sticky eyes. Available for adults and children ages 3 months and over.
Sore Throats
Swab-based testing for strep throat and pharmacist-prescribed antibiotics or pain relief when needed. For ages 12 and up.
Women’s Health
Confidential, pharmacist-led support for common women’s health needs – including UTIs, thrush, emergency contraception, and oral contraceptives.
Men’s Health
Discreet, pharmacist-led consultations for common men’s health concerns, including erectile dysfunction. Fast, professional care.
Vitamin B12 Injection
Healthy boost from B12 injections – safe and convenient access to support energy and wellbeing. Available with a doctor's prescription or if blood tests indicate a need.
Medical Certifiates
Quick issuance of medical certificates (up to 3 days) for minor ailments following pharmacist consultation.
Shingles
Fast, pharmacist-led treatment to help ease shingles symptoms and speed up recovery. For adults 18 and over with symptoms under 72 hours.
Melatonin
Natural sleep aid available by consultation for adults 18 and over. Helps reset sleep routines, with up to 3 months’ supply.
Blood Pressure Checks
On‑the‑spot blood pressure readings with personalised advice. Available without appointment.
Vaccinations
Fast, safe, and professional vaccination services – including flu, COVID-19, shingles, MMR, and more. Private consultation rooms. Bookings recommended.
Quit Smoking
Supportive pharmacist‑led quit-smoking service with nicotine replacement therapy. Minimal cost, no consultation fee.
Rosacea
Tailored treatment for mild rosacea flare‑ups in those previously diagnosed. For adults 18+ years of age.
In addition to helping you, we also train a lot of young pharmacists.
One of the key messages we try to get across to them is the importance of personal interaction with the people coming in to the pharmacy.
As pharmacists, we often have no more than two to five minutes tops to talk to someone, and you’ve got to use that time really wisely. We need to make the biggest impact on their life we possibly can in those five minutes. If you're a diabetic, we might want to ask about how you are tracking with your blood sugars, and if you are taking their medication properly.
What we’ve found is that a lot of patients have a different relationship with us than they have with their doctor. So you will say to the doctor “yes, I take my medication, and I have been doing it all the time”. And then when you come to see us, you’re more likely to say “actually, I am not taking it aaaaalll the time…” And then it’s our job to find out why you are not taking your medication, what the barriers are, and how we can make it better for you. You’d be surprised how those couple of minutes here and there do add up, and we’re having a positive impact on people’s lives. Little changes over time make a tremendous difference. That’s how I see pharmacists making the biggest impact.
