If you have a fever, cough or shortness of breath, confusion, or a severe headache alongside your rash, please see a doctor urgently rather than booking a pharmacy consultation.
Eligibility and cost:
Adults 18 and over
Rash present for 72 hours or less
Mild to moderate symptoms
Rash does not involve the face, head, neck, eyes, or genital area
Not suitable if you are pregnant, have diabetes, or are immunocompromised
$50 per consultation
Antiviral medication: up to $35 for a 10-day course
If you don't meet the criteria above, antiviral treatment is still available and often effective - please see your GP.
