At Roslyn Pharmacy, we understand that accidents happen, and we're here to support you with prompt, confidential access to emergency contraception.
The sooner you take it, the more effective it is, but it can still be taken up to 72 hours after unprotected intercourse. Our pharmacists are available to provide the care and guidance you need during this time, ensuring you receive the right support quickly and discreetly.
Eligibility and cost:
Most effective when taken as early as possible
Can be taken up to 72 hours after unprotected intercourse
Women under 30: consultation funded under Extended Pharmacy Services (EPS), no consultation charge. A standard prescription charge may also apply, unless you're exempt
Women 30 and over: $35 per consultation, includes medication
Convenient Access to Oral Contraceptives
Managing your contraceptive needs just got easier with Roslyn Pharmacy. Our pharmacists can provide a 6-month supply of oral contraceptives if you meet the necessary criteria, with funded consultations available under Extended Pharmacy Services (EPS) for eligible patients.
Whether you’re using the combined oral contraceptive pill or the progestogen-only pill, we’re here to ensure you receive the right support and guidance. For combined oral contraceptive users, we’ll also perform a blood pressure check to ensure your ongoing health and safety.
Eligibility and cost:
Combined Oral Contraceptive Pill: Women aged 16 to 39 years
Progestogen-Only Pill: Women aged 16 to 52 years
Must have received the oral contraceptive from a GP within the last 3 years
Must have seen a doctor at least twice for oral contraceptives
Annual consultation required with your accredited pharmacist, including a blood pressure check for combined oral contraceptive users
Funded under EPS: consultation co-payment of $5 with a Community Services Card, or $20 without
A standard prescription charge may also apply, unless you're exempt

When a urinary tract infection strikes, getting the right treatment quickly is essential. Funded consultations are available under Extended Pharmacy Services (EPS) for eligible patients.
Our pharmacists are here to provide prompt care, helping you manage the discomfort of a UTI with ease. You can rely on us to offer the right solution and guidance, so you can feel better sooner.

Women aged 16 to 65 years
Not available to those who are pregnant

Effective Treatment for Vaginal Thrush
At Roslyn Pharmacy, we’re here to help you manage the uncomfortable symptoms of vaginal thrush with care and expertise. Funded consultations are available under Extended Pharmacy Services (EPS) for eligible patients.
If you've experienced thrush before and recognise the symptoms, our pharmacists can provide antifungal treatments without the need for a prescription. We offer a range of options, including antifungal creams, pessaries, and oral capsules, all designed to target the candida fungus while preserving your natural vaginal flora. Our pharmacists are also available to discuss your symptoms and ensure that you receive the most appropriate treatment.

Previously diagnosed with thrush
Community Services Card holders aged 18 and over: funded under EPS, $5 consultation co-payment. A standard prescription charge may also apply, unless you're exempt
Everyone else: no consultation fee, cost depends on the medication purchased
