Assessment and treatment for the whole family
Head lice are very common in children, and the key to getting rid of them is making sure everyone affected is treated properly at the same time. At Roslyn Pharmacy in Dunedin, our pharmacists can check whether it really is head lice, choose the right treatment, and show you how to use it so it works first time.
We can assess and treat other family members at the same consultation, so you don’t need a separate visit for each person. You’ll also get a metal-tooth lice comb and clear advice on combing and checking, so you know what to do over the next few weeks.
Eligibility and cost:
Children under 14 years old
Other household members with head lice can be treated at the same consultation
Consultation co-payment: $5 for children under 14 (one consult fee per household)
Funded treatment included where clinically appropriate
A standard prescription charge may apply to other household members, unless exempt
